LSE - prior RNS analysis
oasis is now uploading the companies that have an imminent RNS (notification of company news)
and we can now report on these companies to see how they have been performing during the last month, just prior to their RNS
this is the first report below and shows closing price, and then percentages increases for the subsequent 5, 10, 15 and 30 days sorted by company and date (each day from a month ago to the present day)
for the random company selection in the first report below, of interest is MIN, with the actual oasis analysis graphs in the next screen shot - we can see that a month ago prior to RNS we have seen a steady price increase with a resultant 138% increase in price over the last month (30 days)
but MIN is exceptional, out of a random selection of 100 companies that are going to publish an RNS in the next month, only 14 have increased in value more than 11.5% - more typical price rises are shown in the last screen shot with MNZS, although this report also contains a nice riser in MNGS
but this analysis contains only prior RNS information
over the next month oasis will be gathering companies that have published an RNS and we can then accurately analyse prior, publish date and post RNS information

LSE RNS'es
I have been working on establishing a connection between LSE RNS and technical analysis
oasis now automatically downloads companies that are about to deliver an RNS on a daily basis from here:
http://www.investegate.co.uk/InvArticle.aspx?id=326234
(the id number at the end is date dependent - oasis automatically gets the new number (from the front page) so that the most up to date list is loaded each day)
then the data is cleaned up and upload to oasis (at 01.00hrs in the morning)
a comparison of companies is made that are just about to issue news with oasis technical analysis
oasis is in the process of establishing historical RNS data, so will post back in about 2 weeks on analysis
and wondering if there is the same somewhere for NASDAQ and NYSE

complete beta listing on twitter
I am in the process of adding all of my beta formulae onto the auto twitter feed
what this means is that there will be days when some of the feeds will be empty - a couple of my betas being 100% risers but list a company about every 2 months
I have tried to make this as obvious as possible - if for example, you are following the feeds for NASDAQ you will see multiple entries per day now, some will say that they are empty and list the beta name (such as NASDAQ-b4) but then will have entries for other betas which will list companies
if you would like to have a deeper explanation of the exact logic for a beta please email me or comment
